Rick,
Here my contribution for the Best of NGC:
Location: Central Scottsdale
Sky: Clear, steady
Scope: 6", f5 at 170x
Could not see NGC6503 at all under the urban conditions with this scope. I
could see the 8-9th mag star pattern that marks the location of the galaxy
but not the galaxy itself. Either need a bigger scope of darker skies!

Hi SAC Imagers, Observers & Sketchers,
The ³Best of the NGC² feature in the SAC newsletter Saguaro Skies
concentrates on one object and will have a collection of images, notes,
and sketches submitted by SAC imagers and observers.
* Note: These don't have to be done recently, I accept images,
observation notes & sketches done in the past. So, check your log books
or files.
For July, NGC 6503, Galaxy, Sb, 17 49.4 +70 09, 11.5, 8x2.6, bright,
