Subject: [sac-forum] Anyone else see it?
At 6AM this morning, I was out in the backyard (NE Phoenix) and saw a
very bright object (~-5 mag.?) moving steadily across the sky from the
SSW to the NNE, crossing in front of Alnilam (middle belt star) in
Orion. It was bright across the sky and faded in luminosity slightly as
it reached about 25° down in the NNE wherein it dipped below the roof
line of my house. I viewed it for about 2-3 minutes. Any guesses what
it was?
Bob
