[sac-forum] Re: Announcing the Keynote Speaker for the 30th Anniversary Dinner

Hi, Rick,

I'd prefer a topic which at least is related directly to astronomy. Dark
energy and the fate of the universe certainly would be interesting, as would
observational attempts to determine whether physical laws and constants
indeed change over time or vary across the observable universe.

30th Anniversary Dinner

                All,

It is my pleasure to announce that through the charms of
Jennifer Polakis, we have confirmed that Dr. Paul Davies, from the Beyond
Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science, will be our speaker at the 30th
Anniversary Dinner at the Challenger Space Center, Sept. 29th, 2007.

Dr. Davies & the Beyond Center were featured in an article
in the AZ Republic on June 24th. He is versed
On a myriad of subjects, any of which would captivate our
membership. Dr. Davies has asked what topic on which we would like him to
speak. In this regard, please peruse his website: http://cosmos.asu.edu/ ,
or the Beyond Centers Site: http://beyond.asu.edu/home.html and let me know
what topic interest you. I'll let Dr. Davies know.

Remember if you haven't done so already, please remit your
