[sac-forum] ATM & Astro Imaging Subgroup meets Tuesday

The holidays are over and the ATM/Astro-imaging subgroup will start up again on
its usual day, which is Tuesday before the SAC general meeting (Jan 15 this
month). We will meet at my house again at about 6 PM per the following
directions.

Address: 210 W. Tierra Buena Ln, Phoenix. Approximately 1 mile south of Bell
Rd and 1/2 mile west of 7th St.

If you come up 7th St from the south, turn west on Coral Gables (which is 1
mile S. of Bell or 1 mile N. of Thunderbird). Go 1/2 mile west and turn north
(right) on Central Av. Continue three blocks north and turn west again (left)
on Tierra Buena. Go one full block, then we're in the second house on the
right. My red Tahoe is usually in the drive and there may be some scopes in
the driveway. Give us a call if you can't find it. If you're on the 101 north
of here, go south about 3 miles on 7th street to Coral Gables, then west as
above.

Bring along any project that needs work, perhaps some drilling, turning, or
milling, etc. We can make Swiss cheese of it. Or bring a show-n-tell and we'll
try NOT to make swiss cheese of it.
Also bring astro-imaging questions and answers and pretty pictures.
Rick Rotramel is going to work on installing a fan in his 12.5".
Also, let's find out how much interest there is in making 'bino' mounts based
on Bill VanOrden's design. Bill says the original mount has been sold, but he
has provided pictures and descriptions.

See ya,

Paul Lind
