Subject: [sac-forum] A bit of SAC History

I received an email the other day from Terri Lapin, Editor
of the TAAA NL. She was cleaning out her desk and found a bunch of old SAC
NL's dating back from the 1978. She asked if I'd like them, of course I said
yes. They came Saturday and I'm still sorting through them. My plan is to
scan them and upload them to the Website. Although some are pretty faded, so
I'm not sure how well they'll scan, but I'll try.

One of the first things I saw was a mention of a star pasty
at Fessler's Ranch, with directions. Based on the map it looks like the
location is in what is now Desert Hills around 33rd Ave & W Irvine Rd, A
bit south of Anthem, but close enough in to make note of how Aurora
Phoenicia has grown in the past 30 years.

A pleasant surprise trip into the clubs history.

Yes I thanked Terri for saving them.
