[sac-forum] Re: 5MM

Janis,

Yes, there is a tree line under which we set up camp. In fact the forest
service asks (read requires) that we keep our vehicles & tents under the
tree line. It is ok to drive out to the meadow to unload your equipment, but
please move your vehicle & tent under the trees.

Please remember that the nearest place to get supplies is Clint's well,
which is 17 miles away, so bring all you will need for your stay.

Also remember, although the forest is open, there are restriction that we
must observe, mainly NO open fires (camp stoves are OK), and no smoking
except INSIDE your vehicle. Also, remember the old boy scout rule: If you
bring it in, bring it out.

I'll see you there.

Hi.......Need info regarding conditions at 5MM.

Is there a tree line for tent setups that can provide some shade or is it
meadow camping pretty much out in the big wide open?

Thanks,
