XGA is definitely worth the $250 + shipping unapproved cost overrun.  =
Just trust me on that one. Or don't.

It is too important of a matter to hem and haw and drag our feet on.  =
And we have only 30 days to get a projector. =20

Actually we do have something near to a champagne budget with the =
accumlation of membership dues that is the money people pay to make a =
club.  Let me repeat that: it is the money people pay to make a club.  =
It is the purpose of the dues to make the meetings, newsletter, etc.=20

If we are required to get approval from the membership at the meeting =
this Friday for an additional $250-$300 to get a XGA projector then that =
should be our last hurdle in going forward.

If we don't need approval from the membership for the cost overrun then =
I'd like to order it today so I can quit having nightmares about a =
speaker showing up and having nothing to make his presentation on.=20

Let's get this settled _now_ or Friday latest.  Astronomy is an =
adventure, not a job.

OK, enough of the opinions.  The ONLY thing we need to discuss at this =

is how much projector we need and how much it will cost.

And folks, let's pretend that some of us don't have a stinking clue =

about getting an XGA instead of a VGA.  Why? Is the VGA an endangered=20
species?  Will it blow up after so many uses?  Does it release too much=20
radiation into the room?  You get the point.  Let's see some clear, =

reasonings behind WHY we need to get into "more" projector.

How much projector and why....that is the question on the floor right =
now.=20
We'll get to the cost later.
