           Back to the question of the Best Beyond the NGC, can we use these
objects  in the 1000 or not??

Joe;
I am going to respond "yes" that the objects from the Beyond the NGC list can 
be applied to the Big 1000 award.  In the same way as the fact that there are 
many objects from the SAC Best of the NGC award that are Herschel 400 objects.  
That would seem to be consistent with what AJ had to say in the newsletter 
article he referenced.  I know he is busy and probably needs to get to the 
weekend to have some time to respond in length.  I hope that I am providing 
good info, but I am willing to be corrected.
