Why should I sign a form stating I hold you  harmless for any injury 
you may cause me?

As Bob pointed out, that gives you a blank check to do what you want. 
That IS NOT RIGHT!

I guarantee you if someone is indeed negligent and someone is injured 
a waiver will not protect you and could be cause for swaying a 
judgement and even increasing an award.

Interesting link. Should the waiver list as potential dangers, 
getting hit by a meteorite? :-)
