Thanks Thad. I was seeking clarification on what the members are going to
vote on. Is it whether SAC should use waivers at all, and if so, how they
will be implemented?
Your reply indicates this is not being proposed, but rather debated.
This is an excerpt you recently emailed: "As to not color the issue, I
include the link to the constitution here....
http://members.cox.net/paul.dickson/sac.constitution.html The amendments
involved are marked as "proposed", and clicking on them
opens them up for reading. Proposed changes are underlined."
It seems like those are proposals... or have they already been approved?
Do I understand then, that if the membership votes to accept the amended
articles, that the next step would be the formulation of a liability
waiver? Will the membership vote on the actual waiver (content and
wording)? Or do the proposed amendments address that eventuality?
Peter

Peter, with so many emails, it has been a chore to keep up. Especially
when sidetracks are presented. Anyhow, your understanding is very similar
to mine.
As far as SAC using liability waivers, it's not being proposed, but rather
debated.
The wording is in place, the intentions of the wording are clear, and now
the membership is discussing the possibilities. I opened up the discussion
to allow the members to make their decisions with ample of time ahead of
the upcoming vote.
Is this what you were asking?
Thad
