Re: The Screen

Yeah it's cumbersome, but it is rugged and durable. It's a nice size
too.

Do we want to downsize the screen for easier handling? Maybe a little
bit, but then will the tripod to hold it be sturdy enough?

Tom and I will be out of town for the July 14th meeting.
We'll need a volunteer to take the properties from us at the June
meeting and bring them to the July meeting.
This job requires a truck or long enough van to haul the screen.

Speaking of screens, I'd also like to start the process of considering
acquiring/buying a new one before someone gets hurt with that one.  I've
not a clue on how to go about it. Does anyone have any ideas or perhaps
a deluxe extra-huge screen they'd like to donate to a worthy astronomy
club? Is the size measured diagonally like a television set? Are they
sold locally? Where?, etc.
