"Thad's idea" is not very different from the way things have been running
for the past 14 years that I've been aware of the meeting's program of
events.  It's very seldom that there's a show-n-tell that the president
doesn't know about prior to the start of the meeting.

Nice hand waving.  The last two years we have barely matched our income
with our outflow.  We made it last year by selling donated assets.  We'll
make it this year too because we've already done that.  But the club's
renewable assets (dues from members) are not enough to cover our typical
budget.

I guess it's time for me to finally do a final report for last year...
