Subject: [sac-board] The vote
Our meeting tomorrow is extremely important for SAC members as we are to =
debate, discuss and vote on amendments having to do with waivers.
Regardless of my personal interest it is important for us members to=20
attend this meeting, participate, listen to the discussion and vote. =20
It doesn't make any difference if you vote for or against, it is for you =
to cast your vote. This is a very precious privilege for us in this=20
country and club. Please don't remain silent and not cast a vote. =20
VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.
Let us also keep in mind our esteemed president Thad. There is little=20
doubt in my mind this process has caused him great stress. During our=20
e-mail discussions, his keeping us (yes that includes myself) on track,=20
moving along and respectful takes a lot of time and energy producing=20
stress. Let's try to conduct ourselves at the meeting such that stress=20
to Thad is kept to a bare minimum.
Finally, remember Steve Coe's comments a few days ago. His wish was to=20
get the vote over with and get back to what SAC is best at - - =
OBSERVING!
With that in mind, I'm really looking forward to our star party on the=20
24th at Cherry Rd.
Clear skies to all,
aj
