[sac-board] Re: Star parties & waivers

The club is fast approaching a financial crisis any way. I think as a
side issue the club needs to look closely at expenses and income.
What is really important for expenses and how can income be
increased. Raising dues will not be productive as you will lose
members. One key is a membership drive. More members means more money
and the cost per member does not increase, but the income does.

As for the cost of additional insurance, one must weigh the value .vs
cost. I have offered essentially no cost suggestions that really
should be considered (showing the club is safety conscious).
