True, however, the information sent to me indicated the club was
close to bust financially.
There are many wonderful things the club could do with extra $$.
Think about an acre of dark sky property all the club's.
The Phoenix area is growing fast and it's very reasonable to expect
the club to grow. Doing nothing will at best stagnate the club. At
worse the membership dues will need to continually be raised and new
members will be stuck wondering what their money is used for and what
they are getting for their hard earned $ or the club will dissipate.
If all you want to do is star party with other observers, there is no
need for any membership dues or a club. Just post to the lists about
when, where and what.
