[sac-board] SACnews stuff

First, thanks to Paul for getting the newsletter out. We did figure out the
problem and it lies in aol v7.0. I'll be checking to see if the is a patch
or fix for this issue.

Second Brian Workman had brought up the question about acrobat keeping all
formating (fonts etc) when converting documents. I did a little experiment
and discovered that if you do embed the fonts in the acrobat document when
creating it, it will subsutute fonts at the readers end unless the same
fonts are installed. If the fonts are embedded it will look identical to the
machine that created it. There is a trade off here and that is file size.
The issue jsut sent is 897kb with embedded fonts, 537 without. tahts about
60% larger. For my money, since this is a relatively small mailing list, I
think having everyone have the fonts installed is a better option as it'll
let me keep file sizes down to a resonable download time. I can have the
files posted on the website for download, where they'll be accessable to
all. However if the majority of you prefer thsat I embed the fonts and are
willing to put up with a longer download, I'll go that way. Your choice.
