I think what we have here is a classic case of paralysis by analysis ;-)
I don't think additional explanations are necessary, as I think the few who
voiced an opinion really
do understand what you are proposing. Those who want to use the additionally
available GPS data can
do so; those who wish to use the maps as is can do that as well.
I applaud your initiative and look forward to seeing the maps on the website!

Ok, can we agree that photo maps to observing sites and meetings are a good
idea? Understand that
the waypoints will not be on these maps. Perhaps Thad should demonstrate what
he is talking about. I
am going to submit maps to Thad using the AutoCad Map program I use at work.
These maps will be much
smaller file size and will not have all the unimportant distracting detail. I
will bring them to the
next meeting both printed and on a CD disk.
