Paul, how is it any more distracting than having to read a printed map?
It could be argued that a paper map is much more distracting
to use compared to a properly mounted GPS. Using a GPS
like this only requires someone to look at the screen, with both hands on
the wheel, whereas using a paper map means that you need to look
someplace else other than ahead, unless you are using one hand to hold it.

And again, I'm NOT providing waypoints. I'm simply providing information
that the GPS can use to guide someone to the destination.

Don't get me wrong, I know that people are going to find our meeting
regardless.
I was only trying to implement a potentially useful idea. If everyone feels
so strongly against it, I'll relent. But IMHO, I think that this is a
chance to
make it as easy as possible to get people to our meetings by using a
technology
that is quite easy to use.
