Jeff Read deeper and you will see the newsletter, according to Article V Section B sub Section 6 Paragraph c, indicates that the Secretary will be "responsible or appoint responsibility for publication of the newsletter. Thus I have been duly appointed to this task. Membership is salsa the responsibility of the Secretary. Creating a separate board position for this would be redundant. Since I attend most every board meeting, and I feel my input on club matters is given due consideration by the board, I don't see the need to create new board positions. We have enough trouble filling the five positions we already have. Also, Committee chairmen are designated by the title "Chairman" in the masthead. Seems to be sufficient to me BTW, I was serious when I asked if you were going to run for office. It seems you don't agree with the current board on many items pertaining to how the club is run, Here's your opportunity to effect the changes you feel we need. You've made your opinions clear, and other have replied. Now it's time to put up or shut up. Either run for office, accept the current (and future boards leadership), or find an audience more in tune with your views. Be assured, I do respect your right to your opinions, I don't necessarily agree with them, but I think it's time to realize you hold a minority opinion. I really doubt you will change many minds, but a run for office will certainly test that theory. Sorry if the last part is blunt, but I'm tired of this thread. This is the last I'll have to say on it.
