I think I know what you are saying. If no one volunteers for an office, 
then those who have held previous offices have to volunteer for it if 
they have an interest in the club continuing. This is a sacrifice you 
and the other recurrent officers have made for the best interests of the 
club. The success of SAC may not have been solely due to the 2 year 
rule. It provides the potential for varying degrees of 'new blood' and 
prevents someone from occupying one position for 18 or so consecutive 
years, but the foresight of and management by the recurring officers 
have also made it successful.
