Steve, According to A.J., the date may not be set in stone as the parks & rec dept still hasn't cleared the date. I too was dissapointed inthe selectionof near sky objects, but there should be some easliy accessable deep sky objects up. I guess we'll just wait & see Rick Tejera Editor SACnews Saguaro Astronomy Club Phoenix, Arizona -----Original Message----- From: Steve Coe [mailto:stevecoe@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, August 13, 2001 3:12 AM To: sac-board@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [sac-board] Reach 11 Folks; I just took a look at what is available for the Reach 11 Public viewing session on Oct. 6. The moon is not up until nearly 9:00 PM. Mars is pretty tiny at about 11 arc sec. I know that there are lots of things to show off in the Milky Way still available, but I just wonder if this is the night, no doubt. Steve Coe
