Howdy board;
I looked at the possible models and the good news about the model I
chose was that it had the DLP process built in. This is a firmware
program that smoothes the display so that it looks better when projected
to large size. This is the least expensive projector I could find with
DLP built in and it is worth it.
I understand completely that we can keep on finding attributes of
projectors that raise the price until we are at 2500 dollars. However,
the DLP process does make a difference and I think that it is worth
pursuing. Let me look around some more and maybe I have missed a model
that will meet our needs for less than a grand.
Is there a board meeting before the next general meeting? I can report
then. If anyone else finds something, please let us know.
Take Care;
Steve Coe
