Hey Bored,
These are very important issues here. Perhaps we should put any
ill-feelings aside and approach Marilyn about whether or not they have
discussed it with the Rancher Guy, politely reminding her and PAC that SAC
had asked the Rancher Guy for permission, and that PAC should do the same
NOW, before there's a problem. While we're at it, we should make sure that
they know about the limitations, as per Joe's suggestion. And like Rick's
suggestion, perhaps we should get a hold of the Rancher Guy, let him know
that this was not SAC's idea, and give him Marilyn's number so he could
discuss his concerns with PAC/her. I would rather risk hurting PAC's
feelings (please remember that they didn't have the courtesy to ask SAC
first....) than losing a valuable site because of their breach of ettiquite.
I volunteer my many years of "diplomatic relations" experience if the board
is OK with it. I promise to be very proper about it, and to put aside my
obvious chagrin about the matter.
Whatever we decide, we need to do it soon. I would be REALLY, REALLY peeved
if we lose Cherry Rd as a site because of this.
