I have no problem with approving this. As I mentioned to AJ separately,
the novelty of sending award to Australia is such that I would approve of
SAC paying for that one.
Ho do the rest of the officers feel?
On a diffent note: next year, and following, could you get some kind of
commitment from the participants about the award, say attach a cover
letter to the observing form? The participants who are not sponsored by
their clubs will have to hand in $10 to get the plaque, otherwise we just
mail them a certifique. When the individuals are handing in their forms,
we should pretty much know what the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place totals are, so
they can decide at that point whether they want the plaque or not. After
the plaques been ordered is not the time to be asking.
