Hi AJ, I like the overall idea of a SAC Herschel II award. What are
the drawbacks to being a member of the AL? Is it dollars or politics or
what?
My sacred cow that I don't want to be gored is the 1000+ award. I
have been working on this for a number of years and I don't want objects
that counted to become ineligible because new awards are being created.
There has always been some overlap of awards anyway. Having already
done the Messier and SAC 110 lists I already had maybe 100 of the H400
list done. I think your email already says all of this, so then I am
agreeing with you. Hopefully my point is clear.
Thanks Rich
