Folks;
I am forwarding this message from Dick Harshaw in Kansas City. He is a =
great guy and one of the users of SAC database for many years, mostly =
double stars. I hope that someone would like to start a dialog with him =
on public viewing sessions and public education events. I have no doubt =
that both clubs will benefit.

Subject: Education Committee?
Hi, Steve!
Glad to see ASP picked up your book for inclusion in their catalog now! =
I hope sales are good for you. I really enjoyed the book, and have =
recommended it to many of my friends.
Question for you: can you pass this note to SAC's Public Education =
Committee? I am serving on that committe in the Astronomical Society of =
Kansas City and we are looking for some new ideas and would like to swap =
thoughts with your folks.
Thanks!
Richard Harshaw

Why is it that you physicists always require so much expensive =
equipment? Now the Department of Mathematics requires nothing but money =
for paper, pencils and waste paper baskets and the Department of =
Philosophy is better still. It doesn't even ask for waste paper =
baskets."
