[sac-board] Re: Favicon for SAC's web page

Viewing Paul D.'s tests tonite with Netscarp 4.72:
(Oops! What icons?? the attached files got stripped:

Nope, nope, can't view the icons on either test page by Paul Dickson, BUT the
text is now either yellow (test.html) or white (Coe's andromeda article), both
on a black background.  Red static banner appears on the top of the test.html
page.

In IExploder 5.5, I get a __scrolling___ red banner at top on the text.html page
with yellow letters on black background; and black and red text on white
background on the andromeda file.  Reads o.k. to me.

But you probably already knew that.

I can also now read the text on Stan's "new layout" pages.  White on black
background.  This looks o.k. to me, major improvement over last nite.

Hmmmmmm.... clicking on the murky blue SAC logo gets a spruced up, much sharper,
COLORFUL LAYOUT.  I LIKE IT!!!!  Stan, you may be onto something now!!  I
actually must admit I like the colored SAC logo.  Good job on that.

I am also able to read most of the clickable articles, etc.  "Upcoming events"
still bombs, however.

BTW, I got the "old" web page layouts when I viewed www.saguaroastro.org from
work today, both with IE 5.5 and Netscrape 4.72.  Do I need to do a "refresh" or
reload to get the updated layouts (Stan's pages) or is something else going
on......??
I will try again tomorrow from work.

....A grumpy, die-hard Netscrap 4.72 user.  My IS guru at work indicates that
Netsgrope 7 MAY already be stable, but that vers. 6 (all kinds) is NOT.
All above are MY opinions, get some of your own!!
