Paul, the May date, as were all dates for SAC events for 2002, was posted and
discussed for a short time; then all respondants agreed to the dates supplied.

The Deep Sky dates were posted, as above.  But they originally came from me and
posed a difficult decision.  If Christmas was ignored then the 26th was the 
date;
otherwise either put the meeting off until January or not have a meeting at all 
-
neither of which I liked back then.

Actually this entire year posed problems with dates mainly because the lunar
events that drive us happened in the middle of the week.

If memory serves me correctly (which many times it doesn't) Rick Tejera asked 
for
dates and I supplied a set that was discussed.  Perhaps some dates were changed 
-
don't remember here - and, as stated above, the dates were agreed upon.
