[sac-board] Re: [EVAC] New General Assembly Meeting Place Announcement

SAC/EVAC:
It may be an idea to look at having combined meetings on mutual dates which
would also make an opportunity to pool resources affording flights for out
of state lecturers, etc. Currently, I think each club gets to use the
planetarium once a year so we might want to look at the mutual dates and see
if the planetarium is available.

I might have a well-known person for SAC's Aug or Sept meeting and am
working with Christine Shupla to secure the planetarium for him.

Nov. 18th SAC is hosting Don Machholz, the planetarium is not available and
we're currently looking for another venue that holds more people as I'm sure
many would like to see his talk. Just as an idea/example, maybe EVAC would
pay half of his flight/honorarium/and venue and just join up with SAC that
month?

Not making waves, just looking for opportunities.

Saguaro Astronomy Club

TOM:
Can you forward this to EVAC's email for me?
Thanks.
Jenn.
