Well I don't think I said exactly that. Actually we can have a short lead time
to print the shirts, as long as the design is finalized and I have the artwork
in plus the firm order of course. I'm working that now. I can ask for
preorders and even prepay is optional. We can either make them anyway or
refund if it's a no-go by the week prior to the event.

According to Jack at the last board meeting, because of the lead time on
ordering the blank t-shirts, this isn't possible.  Pre-ordering (and
possibly pre-paying) is a way to offset the effects of weather.
