After our safety meeting here is what I learned.
Here it is from the authority on snake bites:
1) wash the bite with soap and water.
2) DO NOT DO ANY THING ELSE TO THE BITE.
3) call the poison control center and let them assess The bite and dispatch an
ambulance.
Or direct you to the nearest hospital.
If you are bitten by a gila monster, there is no anti-venom. Do not cut the
head off. Go to the nearest hospital and they will remove the monster and the
game and fish will fine you $35.000 for basically being stupid enough to be
bitten by the slowest lizard in North America. YOU MUST NOT HARM THEM IN ANY
WAY.
