Paul, et al;

I might go scoping on a Winter Saturday with a late Moonrise, but generally 
not.  I agree that we chose the 7th because it was not a great scoping weekend 
and that most office Christmas parties would be on the 14th or 21st.  I would 
ask that we leave it right where it is.  This will give us a nice crescent Moon 
to look at in Thad's new observatory.
