For now I'd say at least the Messier Marathon. Since that is held on private 
land, we be wise to do all possible to limit our & Ray Farnsworth's 
liabilities. As the marathon grow's in size and stature, this will certainly 
become more important. It would also give and easy way to determine 
attendance.

As for Sentinel, I don't think it's as necessary. Most attendees there are 
club members and by default covered under our insurance. One would also hope 
thay'd know the risks of said attendance. I certainly don't want to turn star 
parties into a "legal issue", but I can see Jack's point for events like the 
MM.
