[sac-board] Re: April newsletter?

All,

OK Peter, I owe you an apology. I did get your original e-mail but made the
mistake of reading it at work and then filing it. I just plain forgot to
respond to you. As Thad had indicated I was out of town most of last week. I
had indicated to the Sac Board List that the NL would not be available, I
presumed you are on the list and saw that post.

At any rate, here is how I think we nee to proceed:

1. Once ready for publication, I'll send the NL to Stan & Peter, Stan
get up on the Web and Peter prints it.

2. Given the past few meetings it looks like only about 3-4 copies
were given to members subscribed to the printed version. Guess that's all
who show up. That would lead me to think that 50 booklet copies is overkill,
lets say 10-15 to cover guests & any requests for comps.

3. I'll also send you as soon as I get it from Al, the latest member
database filtered for the hard copy subscribers. You can print the regular
issues with the labels as you did once before. Bring 'em to the meeting and
I'll take 'em and mail them.

The only contingency we'd need to work is if one of us can't make a meeting.
You can mail them to me or mail them your self and get reimbursed from the
club. Your choice, just let me know which would workout better for you.

As for the April issue it's done, but I'm having trouble converting it to
the pdf file. May have to re create it, so it looks like tomorrow at best.

Peter,

Rick is out of town, and should have the newsletter next week. I apologize

that

you are in this position. I did not realize that you were waiting on this,

or I would have let

you know earlier in the week. Once Rick is back in town, we'll discuss it

and see how to best

prevent similar circumstances in the future. Thanks for your assistance

with the NL....

Thad
