[sac-board] Re: Amendment on the constitution....

 


This one response is in response to a number of messages today.  They will
beaddressed with a person's name and the time it was received.  Hopefully
this will make it easier for everyone to read - rather than responding to
five or six messages, or seven messages individually.  OK here goes.

To Thad's message at 6:44 (were you just coming back from observing are just
getting up?).  There's a direct question about specifically what will be
requested from an attorney.  I think we are at the position where the entire
process needs to be reviewed from beginning to end.  There are just too many
questions from too many of us.  We can start with the reference to Article
VI,1, 5 and how to implement such a concept.


Paul's message at 9:10, re: something that isn't part of the club.  I agree,
we seem to be trying to do something we shouldn't.

Five articles, three amendments.  OK, got it - thanks Paul.

Jeff message 9:39 and others of same position, re: there should be no
amendment, thus NO wording.  It is understood you are against this process. 
Best suggestion I have is to vote against this when brought up at the SAC
meeting.  That is your constitutional right.  I'm not trying to step on
anyone's toes just pointing out there is an avenue for those who feel
differently.  If offense is taken - I apologize.
