I don't like this because you are putting a statement about something
that isn't part of the club into the organization of the club.  Someone
reading the above suggested text might suppose that SAC unofficially
supports separate/independent attendees because it's common enough to
mention.

No you don't.  You see 5 articles being change by three amendments.  The
Waiver amendment covers the changes in articles III, VI, and XIII.
