[sac-board] Re: A concern, and maybe a question for the FAQ...

Thad and board;

I posted a reply to a "where are we going" message on az observing a week
before the star party and told the questioner that a distant and dark sky
star party was planned at Sentinel and that a close in star party was set up
at Flatiron and that the phase of the Moon just allowed for both to happen
on the same night.  That this was a somewhat rare occurrence and that we
generally did not do this.  I did not get a reply that I remember.

And this was a rare occurrence, the Moon did align just right and there was
not a cloud in the sky.  Sorry, I did not mean to set you up in such an
awkward situation.  With skies that clear, I would be willing to bet that
there were folks at Flatiron, also.

For Feb, there are two distinct weekends, if I remember correctly.  I must
refer to my recently printed out SAC newsletter, ah, there it is....yes, Feb
14 for SAC star party at Flatiron (I cannot make it) and a return to
Sentinel for Feb 20 and 21, perfectly New Moon.
