[sac-board] Re: 5 Mile Meadow

Where I read the sign when you first turn onto Cherry Rd it says "The Road
is closed to Cross country travel". If you were to traverse the whole length of
the road and meet up with the Orme School Rd then you would be in violation.
Going to our little neck of Cherry Rd II does not violate anything. As long
as we don't change the drainage pattern at Cherry Rd II we won't be in any
kind of trouble. If the road were closed completely there would be a barrier
preventing you from entering the road and that has not happened yet. :-)

Rick,
The Cherry II site had a forest service sign that said the road was
closed due to (I believe it said) erosion, plant life, etc. Twenty feet
down the road someone crossed the berm and went back in there. Matt
went down and looked at the sign and he agreed with me that I think we
were in violation of forest service rules and subject to fines. That i
smy 2cents worth about the Cherry II site. I just don't know.
