The 1st Annual Messier Marathon Potluck Weenie Roast
Sponsored by EVAC and SAC

Someone much wiser than me once said that each day should begin with a
decent breakfast, to prepare mind and body for the day at hand. Another
sage related the need to adequately prepare for a marathon. Let's
combine both bits of advice and have an old-fashioned potluck weenie
roast! Charles would have wanted it that way!

We'll fire up the grills around 3:00 on Saturday afternoon (March 29).
This will allow plenty of time for visiting with old friends and making
new ones before setting up for the night's activities.

Hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, napkins, utensils, cups, and
charcoal will be provided by the hosts.

Participants are encouraged to bring something to share: a bag or two of
chips, a 2-litre bottle of soda, a gallon of drinking water, a side
salad (cole slaw, potato salad, etc.) - use your imagination, but
remember that alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Also, don't forget
ice if your contribution requires refrigeration.

We also need to borrow about 4 grills.

Please conatct me off-list at evac_prez@xxxxxxxxxxxxx to let me know
what you'll be bringing!

This is a great opportunity for socializing with your fellow amateur
astronomers prior to another great Arizona Messier Marathon!

Keep looking up,
