February 1st and 2nd 1990 are missing from my usual source for The Age
(Melbourne). Microfilm at the NSW State Library this morning was unreadable for
both those dates and the State Library doesn’t retain a hard copy for this
paper.
Is any Vic or ACT indexer able to check the National Library in Canberra or the
Victorian State Library to see if they have hard copy and might be able to copy
the missing death and funeral notices for me please. I suspect that the film
was compiled from a badly printed edition and a hard copy may not be any
better. Other pages on those dates were fine.
