I propose that those who are interested in the Uprooting Racism conversation send me an email so that they can be included in our upcoming debrief and planning call. The meeting wizard will go out tomorrow. Most of the folks on the call will be facilitators and people who were involved in the planning but it would be good to have some RSC voices with us as well.

Also, I still have not received a single response to the criteria for trainers that I have sent out. Does this mean we want to discuss this on a call? It seems strange to me that I've not received any feedback as this decision affects each of us who are interested in participating in LE's in a very direct way, and represents the standard to which we're going to hold ourselves as a group. This is big stuff! There's still time to email me before the call.... ;-)

Shon and All,

Looking at the agenda for this month’s call I make the following observation. It is unrealistic to think that we can collectively address 7 items in less than 10 minutes, especially when that list includes the budget, curriculum, C/APP, MICA, Uprooting racism, and the RSC retreat. Most of these items could take up an entire call alone. We would not do ourselves justice to try to tackle all of these issues in one call. I suggest that we take the most pertinent two or three and allocate 3 – 5 minutes on those and use email to set issue specific calls for some of the remaining issues.
