This is SOOOOOOO true. And even more true for movies.
I vividly remember my first 3-D movie, in the '50s, viewed with
polarised glasses. The movie was "Fort Ti", a lousy movie (as movies
go), but the "Wow!" factor of a flaming arrow coming right at me so
that I actually ducked in my seat was unforgettable.

Yes, this is a VERY good point. I do agree. A well-done slide show
with an appreciative audience is also an unforgettable experience.
VERY different from a gallery, where everyone also sees the same
pictures, but not at the same TIME.
