I think they are down to a 10 foot wall with 4 shelves but there is nearly
nothing available. I buy virtually everything I need now from Freestyle
or B&H or photographers formulary. PPS really switched to a more amateur
market even advertising on AM radio.
It would be great to be able to walk into Adorama or B&H though it is also
great to have all that stuff on line and have UPS bring it to you.
I have been enlarging negs from the Rollei for platinum printing. Using
regular optical methods and slopping through the chemistry. My use of the
Rollei is very much contingent on my being able to do that. It is working
as well or better than the inkjet negs I have seen but still somewhat a
disappointment. I am deciding to put the Rolleis away for awhile and go
back to the 8x10 for some quality perspective. Kind of in a pointless
quandry over it. I hate to put the rolleis down on a sour note.
