Jerry, in 1948, in Korea, I used a Bantam and took many pictures and Kodachromes. I had a standard Bantam but lusted for the Special .! My Kodachrome slides are still in good shape.

David,No, you suggest erroneously! My 828 negatives are considerably thinner than my 35mm negs taken in the same time frame. My 828 negs were taken with a Kodak Bantam Special a Kodak Medalist and a Rolleiflex. (Both the latter with adapters made by my cousin)I do know the difference between roll film stock and cine film stock. Thanks, Jerry David Sadowski wrote:I recall the film dimensions of 828 were 28x40mm. This would suggest that they used 35mm film without the sprocket holes. Reduce the image to a square, add the film cassette, and you have 828. So there does seem to be a connection between the two film formats- they apparently used the same basic film stock. They also carried over the one-notch per frame system. --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list--- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
