Is there any reliable way to tell when lenses have been replaced? I have
one Automat that clearly has been, as they are NEW Carl Zeiss Tessars,
neither Jena nor Opton...
and, knowing Summicrons went through a process of improvement (I have a
1-cam Summicron-R 50 that cannot approach my 3-cam), did the Rollei
Xenars, Xenotars, Planars, etc, go thru improvement? Are newer ones
better?
