Someone -- Carlos? Eric? -- suggested that digital cameras were machine-assembled while high-end film cameras were assembled by hand. You then responded that it took machines to design the innards of digital cameras. I am merely pointing out that the discussion was on production and not design.
I agree that any high-end camera today is made by CNC machinery.
