That is a very good hobby Dennis, I did a similar job registering the
SN "white face" 2.8F cameras in eBay and other sites trying to
establish the SN for the first 2.8F "white face" and I concluded
-writing from memory- it was about the SN 2470000, with Planar lens,
camera manufactured about 1970, I have the data in other computer at
my office and then available on Monday. We also did with Todd Belcher
a SN list about the currently known 2.8B Biometar cameras, it's a very
rare camera really.

Collect cameras at Nederland had two years ago a 2.8F Xenotar very
close to the series starting number 2950000, a photograph sample in
Report II, page 16-384, has the SN 2,8F 2955629 and Xenotar Schneider
lens, it's evident they used Planar and Xenotar for the series
earliest numbers up to complete the Planar stock and then only the
Xenotar was used.
