Trying to be more clear: the 2.8A lens hood is a
special case because it is bayonet II size like the
3,5C and 3,5F cameras but it has the taking lens
accesories outer ring male holders like the Rolleiflex
and Rolleicord cameras Bay I, the 2.8A has a dedicated
lens hood manufacutured like a Rolleiflex 6x6 -not
4x4- and Rolleicord Bay I lens hood however with a Bay
II size. According I have explained in previous post,
the position for the accesories male holder is
different for the B II from the 3.5E or C model (read
my post on the positions following the hours position
in a clock).-
