Hi Marc, I'm hard pressed to believe that all the "Made In Germany" Contax RTS lenses I've seen over the years are "market test models", unless they made *quite* a few of them. In the RTS world, the "Made In Germany" versions of the lenses bring premium. You certainly can check eBay to see that quite a significant number of RTS lenses offered are "Made In Germany".
