The Hologon sold VERY well, much, much, much better than intended.
Kyocera always insisted that production of the
exotics remain at Oberkochen whether they were to
be big sellers or not. It was a matter of the
cachet for the home Japanese market. Kyocera
believed that the Japanese market would shun
Japanese-built Hologons and Mirotars.
